For No One - The Beatles

On this special occasion, of me celebrating nothing at all, I decided to shed some light on how the blog title, as well as the blog address, came about. One post each. This obviously being for the former.

So ok, yea, it's a Beatles song, one of my favourite at that. Beautiful yet sad song by Mccartney with a brilliant horn solo in the middle.

But, that's not the only reason I chose this title. The other being literally, For No One. Not for a friend, not for the fame, not for the money, not for the popularity, not for the credit you'll receive, not to "show off", just purely for the love of it. In other words, you don't need a reason to do something. On a larger scale, applying it to other things we do in life. Sadly, this kinda attitude is facing extinction. Just think of the last time you did something purely for the love of it. I couldn't remember mine.

Oh and yes, it does contradict my blog address. I'm a hypocrite.
