From now on, I'll be writing more about social issues, world happenings and "systems" around the world. I would say that I'm doing so for the sake of creating awareness among people, but really, who believes in all these altruistic act. I just thought, in order to write about them, I first have to read about them, and hence, but writing about them, I'm essentially educating myself.
I apologise if you are overly ignorant, because that would most likely render you incapable of understanding most things that I will be writing about. But fear not, if you are one of those who ARE ignorant, but wishes NOT tostay ignorant, I will try my best to go back to basics, but often I cannot go into too much details so I will try to put up links to articles, mainly by my best friend, but also some others that I think are worth reading. That means, you have to be prepared to do a whole lot of reading. After all, it's the knowledge era isn't it?
And since I am not Leonardo Da Vinci, I do not have an interest in knowing about everything, so I will be covering some issues in more detail, some in less, some more often, others not at all. But feel free to leave a comment* if you have some issues** you'd like my view on. At the moment, the few issues I have a particular interest for and would be discussing are:
War
Humanitarian Aid
Capitalism/Socialism
Healthcare systems
Global health
Biomedical Issues
In light of this, I have created a poll to the right of this page, purely for decorative purposes, feel free to use it. If there are issues you'd like me to discuss but are not on the poll, like I said, leave a comment on any of the recent posts. I have an average of 0.02 comment(s) a week so I read them all.
* I will not be allowing anonymous comments anytime soon. I believe people should take responsibility for what they write online, not hide behind their computers and comment like a 12 year old(or worse). However, I am open to criticism, just not the childish ones.
** By that I mean issues affecting millions of people around the world, not your personal issues, but I'd be happy to talk about that too, if you insist.
TY
